Art Fiber Systems (AFS) is pleased to announce our participation in the 7th European Conference on Process Analytics and Control Technology (EuroPACT 2026), taking place from May 4th to 7th in Lyon, France. We invite industry professionals, researchers, and partners to visit us at Booth #11 at the Convention Centre to discuss the future of process analytics and advanced instrumentation.
The Shift Toward Real-Time Process Control
The latest market trends demonstrate a strong shift away from analyzing isolated samples toward controlling industrial fabrication processes through in-line reaction monitoring. However, navigating this transition can be complex. Today, many end-users of process-spectroscopy find themselves overloaded by the sheer number of spectrometer versions and probes produced by multiple vendors.
The AFS Solution
The mission of Art Fiber Systems is to help end-users design spectral fiber systems that enable them to monitor processes in-line utilizing key spectral features. We assist our clients in selecting the optimal equipment set to monitor their reactions in-line across a broad 0.3-16µm range. By bypassing the need for lengthy internal investigations, AFS saves customers time and money on their path to enhancing production yield and product quality with reduced manpower.
Tailored Services for Advanced Integration
Visitors to our booth can learn more about our comprehensive service offerings, which are designed to address the specific challenges of process control:
- Advanced In-Line Monitoring: We monitor reactions using Multi-Spectral Fiber Systems (MSFS) where key spectroscopy methods—including absorption, scattering, Raman scattering, and fluorescence—are used directly inside the reactor.
- Data Fusion for Accuracy: To secure better accuracy, we select the most information-rich method or fuse spectral data from two to three complimentary methods, including the use of innovative combi-probes.
- Chemometric Modeling: We develop custom software and models for specific processes, transforming defined spectral features directly into the terms of concentration changes during the reaction.
- Customized Hardware Systems: We offer the chance to get customized MSF-Systems equipped with fiber-coupled spectrometers, carefully designed to match specific customer demands and budget constraints.
- IoT & Cloud Integration: For high-volume needs, we develop customized Spectral Fiber Sensors (SFS) used as IoT sensors. Spectral data from these sensors is treated in real-time in the iCloud using specially developed chemometric models for in-line process control.
Driving the PAT Transformation
AFS works on a contract basis, involving various R&D and industrial partners to ensure the success of each project. Together, this teamwork helps cultivate a new generation of photonics and artificial intelligence specialists, driving the Process Analytical Technology (PAT) transformation forward for both industrial applications and the medical diagnostics market.
If you are attending EuroPACT 2026, come meet the AFS team at Booth #11 to discuss your specific process control requirements and discover how we can build a customized solution for your facility.
Our partner, ArzhOptics, will also be present at our booth on May 5th – to discuss needs of our French customers.
